Trail Report: Rope Mill
Rope Mill Park has evolved into one of metro Atlanta’s bigger mountain biking destinations, offering a diverse blend of flow trails and technical challenges along the shores of Lake Allatoona. These are classic SORBA machine built trails, and are close enough to the also popular Blankets Creek to make for a big double day if you’re ambitious.
Trail System Overview
The park features approximately 12 miles of purpose-built singletrack divided into distinct trails of varying difficulty. The system is well-marked and maintained, making it easy to navigate while providing progression opportunities for riders of all abilities.

Overall I find these trails pretty fun, Raceway is a ripper and even explorer trails all combined into a loop are a fun mix of terrains. I think the best way to experience these trails is to ride them all, and mix in the blankets creek trails after a lunch for a big day. If you’re just coming here, I’d consider doing Raceway a few times.
