Atlanta AI Dinner: What's Coming in 2026
Atlanta AI Dinner has been going for a while now, and we’ve had some really great events over the past year. The format works: 6-8 people around a table, no pitches, no panels, just real conversation about AI with people actually building things. It’s small and intimate by design.
If you haven’t visited the site recently, it got a refresh and looks a bit prettier now. We’ve also added a calendar so people can peek in at the types of things we do.
The calendar has two sections worth mentioning. First is “Events of Friends.” We don’t do big events ourselves, but we like them and go to plenty. When friends in the Atlanta AI community are putting something on, we’ll list it there. This month we’re supporting AI Ship & Social on January 16th-a great opportunity to meet fellow AI folks in Atlanta.
Starting in February, we’re trying something new: Coffee Coworks. The first one is February 12th at Brash Coffee in The Works. These are open to the public, with no invite needed. The idea is simple: I’m going to show up at a coffee shop and work there for the morning. Anyone is welcome to come hack on projects, chat, get or give advice, or just socialize over coffee. Low stakes, no agenda.
On the communication side, we have a Discord for members that’s small but mighty. But in 2026 we’re adding a newsletter for those who prefer to just get an email when events are scheduled. If that sounds like you, there’s a form on the website to apply.
The core dinners aren’t changing. Still invitation-only, still small groups, still no sponsors or sales pitches, still everyone paying their own way. That independence is what makes the conversations honest. If you’re interested in joining, email me at will@mcginniscommawill.com.
Looking forward to a good year of food and conversation.
